2008 Student Honors: Graduate students in the field of Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, or Education of the Hearing Impaired from the following universities will also be honored. California University of Pennsylvania: Lori LaPatka Duquesne University: Claire Voelkel Indiana University of Pennsylvania: Heather Schmaus University of Pittsburgh: Penny Ferris Free to Members $10 fee assessed for nonmembers Act 48, PA licensure, and Certification maintenance hours available Directions to Washington Hospital From Pittsburgh: Fort Pitt Bridge and Fort Pitt Tunnels to Parkway West • Parkway West to I-79 South • Take I-79 South (approx. 30 min.) to I-70 East to Exit 19A, Route 19 South/Murtland Avenue • Continue to traffic light (Home Depot / Waffle House on the right) • Proceed up hill past Midas Muffler Shop • Road turns left at EXXON station – but you must continue straight • Follow blue hospital signs down a steep hill • Turn right onto Locust Avenue • Take first left onto Wilson Avenue • Hospital is on the right near the end of Wilson Avenue • Park in visitor parking to your right • Enter hospital lobby from visitor parking
From Morgantown, Waynesburg and south: • Take I-79 North to I-70 West • Go to Exit 19A, Route 19 South/Murtland Avenue • Follow directions as indicated from “Pittsburgh, Oakland and north.”
From Somerset and east: • Take Pennsylvania Turnpike from Somerset to New Stanton exit • Follow I-70 West to Exit 19A, Route 19 South/Murtland Avenue • Follow directions as indicated from “Pittsburgh, Oakland and north.”
From Wheeling, W.Va., and west: • Take I-70 East to Exit 19A, Route 19 South/Murtland Avenue • Follow directions as indicated from “Pittsburgh, Oakland and north.”
Parking: After reaching The Washington Hospital off Wilson Avenue, park in visitor parking to your right. Enter hospital lobby from visitor parking. Parking token machines are located in the lobby as you exit.
