The Southwestern Pennsylvania Speech-Language-Hearing Association (SWPSHA) is a membership organization consisting of Speech-Language Pathologists, Audiologists, and Teachers of the Hearing Impaired. Its purpose is to stimulate a greater interest in, and provide for the exchange of information regarding the nature, prevention, and management of communicative disorders in the local community.

We subscribe to the mission statement of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, which is: to promote the interests of and provide the highest quality services for professionals in Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, and Speech & Hearing Science, and to advocate for people with communication disabilities.
